Two industries dedicated to serving the public, yet too often crossing swords. Why does that happen, and what can be done?

The quality of healthcare journalism begs for critical improvement according to Gary Schwitzer, associate professor of journalism at the University of Minnesota and publisher of the Health News Review.org. The healthcare industry, on the other hand, knows that a negative news story can destroy a business. If ever two entities needed to better understand one another, this is the time. Let your views be known. Participants will join in the discussion with audience-response technology. The purpose of this program will be to raise important issues and to begin to find some common understandings.
